Being a couple of cheapskates, buying designer pieces more often than not goes against our better judgment. We’ve both been earning our shopping money since college, which is why as you would notice in our posts, we seldom splurge on non-investment items and simply mix and match our stuff to form new outfits. But time and again, there are the exceptions: a heartwarming, love-at-first-sight piece, a couture piece that we simply feel was made for us, or a truly awesome sale event. In these cases, we allow ourselves to throw caution to the wind and let the fashion-philes in us take over.
