Finally, exactly one year since we blogged this photo of the “Puzzle” couple necklaces from Me&U Metallurgy (photographed by Tricia Gosingtian), we have decided to consider the requests of Love Chic readers to put up our own online shop and make the items we wear on the blog available for purchase. Aside from the anniversary coincidence, we think it’s kinda awesome that the blog entry got exactly 143 notes as of this posting. We take it as a good sign, yes?
The shop is actually nothing fancy, just a “Shop Love Chic" album within our Facebook page. We start off with a few select pieces, our personal favorites.
"Puzzle" couple necklaces. What we’re wearing in this blog entry.
"Together" couple necklaces. What we’re wearing in this blog entry.
"Duet couple necklaces." The Cobalt (left) is for guys and the Gold (right) is for the girls. These look very similar to our beautiful couple rings, which we wear every day! See them here.
"Forever Puzzle" couple necklaces. The fancier version of the "Puzzle."
These are made from surgical steel. It is hypoallergenic, which means people with sensitive or acidic skin won’t need to worry about wearing them. They don’t tarnish or fade, and are extremely scratch-resistant. Just imagine a literal doctor’s surgical tools. Yup. We wouldn’t sell stuff we can’t vouch for, and this one we definitely can. Our necklaces look as new as when we got them!

Laid-back looks for the lovely weather we’re having—not too hot, not too cold. Despite what hassles the gloomy drizzles may bring, we prefer being kissed by the cool breeze than by the warm sun.

In time for the June 12th celebration of Philippine independence, a few words on what being independent means to us.
It’s about rejoicing in your individuality, and respecting the individuality of others.
It’s about taking delight and pride in your personal achievements and successes, without taking for granted the ones who have helped you through it.
It’s about knowing and loving your true self—your acknowledged gifts, perceived flaws and natural tendencies, so that you may be capable of doing the same for another.
Seph: Shirt and button-down, Topman. Sneakers, Adidas. Ring, Me&U.
Shai: Chiffon dress, Sweet Pitaya. Clogs, Jeffrey Campbell. Ring, Me&U.

MY MISSING PUZZLE PIECE:
Our “Puzzle” necklaces are by Me&U's latest brand from Singapore, M+Y. They're made of surgical stainless steel (as in the stuff used to make surgical tools), which is awesome since silver tends to get scratched, rusty or itchy over time.

SUPERMAN + WONDER GIRL:
13PRD (read out loud as thirteen-produce) shirts come in pairs for couples, but the designs have that streetwear vibe so that you can wear one by itself. This pair right here is called “SuperWonder.”

BIG LOVE, TOGETHER:
"Little girl with big love" and "big man with big love" shirts by 13PRD, and "Together" necklaces by M+Y, both from Me&U.
One necklace has a black nut pendant, while the other has two silver bolts with cute rhinestones on it. We threaded the nut into one of the bolts—perfect fit. :)
